ABS-CBN shows: Hello, goodbye!

CHANGES are brewing in ABS-CBN 2, according to sources. Specifically, old shows are ending to make way for new programs.
This was confirmed by Maloli K. Espinosa, vice president for Government, Corporate Affairs and PR.
Among the shows that are concluding their runs are the prime time game show “Deal or No Deal” and the fantaserye “Super Inggo.”
Espinosa clarified that these shows were not cancelled, that the termination was due to the fact that these shows have reached the end of its “usual life cycle.”
She reiterated that “Super Inggo” and “Deal or No Deal” have gone beyond the regular 13-week run of most ABS-CBN canned programs. “These shows have been extended already. But they will soon end to free time slots for new programs like the soap opera ‘Maria Flordeluna,’ the action-adventure ‘Rounin’ and the second season of the reality competition ‘Pinoy Big Brother.’”
