NBC wrapped up its third straight Tuesday ratings victory last night, thanks once again to the combination of "America's Got Talent" and "The Singing Bee."
For the night, NBC averaged a 5.9 rating/10 share. CBS, 4.5/8, came in second, beating out ABC's 4.0/7. FOX took fourth with a 2.8/5. The CW was barely a blip at 0.9/2.
NBC also led among adults 18-49, drawing a 2.8 rating in the key ad demographic. ABC, 2.2, finished second. CBS was third at 2.0, followed by FOX, 1.5, and The CW, 0.5.
"America's Got Talent" posted a 6.4/12 for NBC at 8 p.m. An "NCIS" rerun, 5.4/10, put CBS in second. An hour of "Just for Laughs" came in third for ABC. "On the Lot" delivered a 1.5/3 for FOX, good enough to beat the 1.0/2 for The CW's "Gilmore Girls" rerun.
NBC held the lead at 9 p.m. with the final half-hour of "Talent," 7.1/12, and "The Singing Bee," 5.9/10. "Big Brother," 4.7/8, kept CBS in second. FOX moved up to third with "House," 4.1/7, while ABC was fourth with "Shaq's Big Challenge," 3.6/6. The CW went with a "Beauty and the Geek" rerun.
At 10 p.m., "Law & Order: SVU" completed the NBC sweep with a 4.9/9. "Primetime: Family Secrets" earned a 4.2/7 for ABC, and CBS' "48 Hours" came in at 3.5/6.
