'Dancing With the Stars' Contestant Becomes a Mother
Marissa Jaret Winokur and Judah Miller have a baby boy
Marissa Jaret Winokur may not have won "Dancing With the Stars," but she's enjoying a much better prize than a mirrorball trophy.
The Broadway star and her husband, comedy writer Judah Miller, became the parents of a baby boy born via surrogate on Tuesday, July 22, reports People.
Winokur, who survived cervical cancer and a life-saving hysterectomy seven years ago, had enlisted the help of a surrogate mother. The new parents both helped deliver their son, named Zev Isaac Miller.
"He is so perfect," says Winokur. "My little miracle baby is here, and I can't believe it. I'd say he's got a Winokur face and a Miller body.
"One minute I'm totally fine, and the next minute I'm overwhelmed with emotion," she adds. "I can't believe I am sitting here next to my baby. This is the one thing that's been missing from our lives. Now our house is really going to be a home."
The Tony winner was the third runner-up on her season of "Dancing With the Stars" and afterwards landed a deal to host her own talk show. Miller received an Emmy nomination for his work on "King of the Hill."
