FOX Squeaks Out Monday Win
'Bones,' 'House' edge CBS for night's top spot

A relatively light Monday night in the Nielsens -- on broadcast TV, at least -- ended with FOX scoring a narrow victory over CBS.
CBS led in households with a 4.5 rating/8 share, but FOX (4.4/7) had a few more total viewers. NBC took third with a 3.7/6. ABC, 2.6/5, was fourth, and The CW trailed with a 0.8/1.
FOX also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.1 rating. CBS took second in the demographic with a 2.0, followed by NBC at 1.6. ABC averaged 1.4 and The CW 0.4.
A "Bones" rerun, 4.0/7, put FOX on top at 8 p.m. ABC's "Bachelor: Where Are They Now?" special finished second in households at 3.6/6, but both CBS, which averaged 3.4/6 with "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother," and NBC's "American Gladiators" (3.0/5) had more viewers. The CW aired a "Gossip Girl" rerun.
CBS led in households at 9 p.m. thanks to "Two and a Half Men," 5.4/9, and a second "Big Bang Theory," 4.3/7. FOX, however, had the most viewers with "House," 4.8/8. NBC moved up to third with "Nashville Star," 3.7/6. ABC's "The Mole: A Closer Look" managed only a 2.0/3. The CW finished its night with "One Tree Hill."
At 10 p.m., CBS' "CSI: Miami" rerun led with a 5.2/9. "Dateline" drew a 4.3/7 for NBC, and "The Mole" came in at 2.3/4 for ABC.
