It was an easy Saturday victory for Fox (and more proof that viewers will indeed watch network television on the evening), with game three of the 2007 Baseball World Series at an approximate 13.00 million viewers and a 3.8 rating/12 share among adults 18-49 in prime-time. As a reminder, fast affiliate results for any live sporting event are always approximate.
NCAA Football, the evening’s other live sporting event, averaged an estimated 7.27 million viewers (#3) and a 2.5/ 8 among adults 18-49 (#2) in prime-time. CBS finished second overall in total viewers and third among adults 18-49 with its combination of a repeat of NCIS (Viewers: #3, 6.68 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4), a repeat pf CSI: NY (Viewers: #2, 7.94 million; A18-49: #3, 1.7/ 5), and 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #2, 7.51 million; A18-49: #3, 1.8/ 5).
Last, and very least in every half-hour, was NBC’s repeat line-up of theatrical Scary Movie (Viewers: 3.16 million; A18-49: 1.1/ 4) and Bionic Woman (Viewers: 3.37 million; A18-49: 1.0/ 3).
