Fast National ratings for Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 (USA).
Led by "Women's Murder Club," ABC won the overall Friday ratings race, but CBS snuck in and won the key demographic.
Overall, ABC averaged a 5.1 rating/9 share to beat NBC's 4.8/8 and the 4.7/7 for CBS. The CW finished fourth on the night with a 2.7/5, bettering the 2.2/4 for FOX.
Among adults 18-49, though, CBS delivered a 2.0 rating, nipping NBC's 1.9 rating and ABC's 1.8 rating in the important demo. The CW had a 1.5 rating to finish fourth ahead of the 1.2 rating for FOX.
Angie Harmon of "Women's Murder Club"
NBC started in front as the 8 p.m. airing of "Deal or No Deal" had a 6.4/11, making it the night's top show. CBS finished second for the hour with the 4.4/7 between "Frosty the Snowman" and "Frosty Returns." ABC's "Men in Trees" was third with a 4.2/7, ahead of the 2.6/5 for The CW's "WWE Friday Night Smackdown" and FOX's "Don't Forget the Lyrics."
ABC moved up to first at 9 p.m. with the 5.8/1 for "Women's Murder Club." CBS' "Movies Rock!" special had a 3.8/7. NBC slipped to third with the 3.6/6 for "Friday Night Lights." The CW's wrestling ("SmackDown!," 2.8/5) stayed fourth and FOX was fifth with the 1.9/3 for "The Next Great American Band."
