CBS takes Monday's 18-49 title, ABC leads in viewers

ABC and CBS battled for ratings supremacy Monday, with each network taking a piece of the crown.
ABC won the overall race, averaging an 8.8 rating/14 share among households in primetime. CBS, 7.3/11, finished second, a point ahead of NBC's 6.3/10. FOX, 5.3/8, came in fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.7/3.
CBS, however, led the way among adults 18-49 with a 4.0 rating. ABC finished second in the advertisers' favorite demographic with a 3.5. NBC, 2.8, came in third, followed by FOX, 2.6, and The CW, 1.3.
"Dancing with the Stars" dominated at 8 p.m. for ABC, drawing an 11.2/18. "Deal or No Deal," 5.9/9, put NBC in second, a little ahead of "Bones," 5.4/9, on FOX. CBS was fourth (but second in adults 18-49) with "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother." The return of "Gossip Girl" to The CW scored a 1.7/3.
ABC held the overall lead at 9 p.m. with "Dancing," 12.6/19, and "Samantha Who?," 7.0/11. CBS moved up to second with "Two and a Half Men," 8.3/12, and "Rules of Engagement," 6.7/10. "Deal or No Deal" improved to 6.8/10 for NBC, keeping it ahead of a "House" repeat on FOX. "One Tree Hill" earned a 1.8/3 for The CW.
"CSI: Miami," 9.3/15, easily won the 10 p.m. hour for CBS. "Medium" posted a 6.4/10 for NBC, topping the 5.4/9 for "The Bachelor: London Calling" on ABC.
