NASCAR on Fox led the low-rated Saturday troops, with 6.99 million viewers and a 2.4 rating/8 share among adults 18-49 in prime-time (from 8-11 p.m.). Comparably, the year-ago telecast of NASCAR on Fox averaged a similar 7.02 million viewers and a 2.7/ 9 in the demo on Saturday, April 21, 2007.
A night of repeats on NBC finished second overall in both total viewers and adults 18-49 with its combination of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Viewers: #3, 4.42 million; A18-49: #2, 1.1 rating/4 share), Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #2, 4.90 million; A18-49: #2, 1.3/ 4) and Law & Order (Viewers: #2, 5.85 million; A18-49: #2, 1.5/ 5).
ABC and CBS shared the No. 3 and 4 spots, respectively, with CBS third in total viewers and ABC and CBS tied for third (in rating) among adults 18-49. CBS opened the evening with 8 p.m. special The Lord’s Boot Camp at a mere (and last-place) 2.42 million viewers and a 0.8/ 3 among adults 18-49.
