Per usual, CBS grabbed the top overall spot in Friday night's ratings. Not so usual, though, was The CW claiming an outright win in the adults 18-49 demographic.
CBS led the night with a 3.7 rating/7 share. NBC, 3.0/6, finished second. ABC's 2.6/5 was good for third, while The CW and FOX tied for fourth in households at 2.4/5.
In the key adults 18-49 demographic, however, The CW grabbed the top spot with a 1.4 rating. CBS and NBC tied for second at 1.3. ABC averaged 1.2 and FOX 0.9.
NBC won the 8 p.m. hour with "1 vs. 100," 3.5/7. A "Ghost Whisperer" rerun on CBS drew a 3.0/6. FOX took third with a "Bones" rerun. Two episodes of "George Lopez" averaged 2.2/5, tying with "Friday Night Smackdown!" on The CW.
"Close to Home," 3.9/8, moved CBS into the lead at 9 p.m. "Smackdown!" improved to 2.7/5 to finish second for the hour. A "Las Vegas" rerun on NBC earned a 2.5/5, topping the 2.3/4 for "Standoff" on FOX. ABC went with "Kyle XY."
At 10 p.m., CBS' "Numb3rs" drew the night's highest rating with a 4.4/8. ABC's "20/20" posted a 3.9/8, and a "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" rerun came in at 3.1/6.
