A rather slow Friday night went to NBC with its steady, if not stellar lineup of reruns giving it the ratings title.

NBC averaged a 3.2 rating/6 share, barely edging past CBS' 3.1/6. It was a close race for the remaining contenders as well, with ABC claiming third at 2.9/6, FOX at 2.8/5 and The CW at 2.6/5.

It was a different story with the 18-49 demographic, however. FOX claimed victory with its 1.6, just ahead of The CW's 1.4 and ABC's 1.3. NBC took fourth with its 1.2, with CBS finishing with a 1.1.

The Eye network kicked off the evening with a repeat of "Ghost Whisperer" claiming a 3.2/7 at 8 p.m., while NBC followed ith a 2.9/6 for its rerun of "1 vs. 100." FOX's first hour of "13 Going on 30" began with a 2.5/5 for the hour, while The CW started with a 2.4/5 for its first hour of "WWE Friday Night Smackdown." ABC's comedy "Set for Life" only snagged a 2.3/5.

NBC pulled ahead in the 9 o'clock hour with "Dateline NBC" pulling in a 3.3/7, with FOX's Jennifer Garner movie rising to a 3.0/6 for second place. The CW's "Smackdown" took a 2.7/5, while a "Jericho" repeat snagged a 2.6/5 for CBS. ABC's "George Lopez" repeats brought up the rear with a 2.2/4.

At 10 p.m., ABC's "20/20" grabbed the night's best rating, 4.3/9. CBS took second with "Numb3rs," 3.5/7, barely ahead of NBC's "Law & Order: SVU," 3.4/7
