CBS Makes Its 'Case' Sunday
Eye takes overall crown, but ABC tops demo

CBS and "Cold Case" took Sunday's overall ratings title, but ABC snagged the most eyeballs in the adults 18-49 demographic.
For the night, CBS drew a 5.6 rating/9 share, narrowly beating ABC's 5.4/9. NBC came in third with a 3.6/6. FOX, 3.1/5, was fourth, and The CW posted a customarily meager 0.7/1.
No network set the house afire in the adults 18-49 demo, but ABC's 2.9 rating was the best of the bunch. FOX's 2.3 took second, followed by CBS, 2.1, and NBC, 1.5. The CW managed only a 0.4.
CBS set the pace at 7 p.m. with "60 Minutes," 6.4/12. "America's Funniest Home Videos" earned a 4.6/8 for ABC, topping the 3.0/6 for "Dateline" on NBC. Reruns of "King of the Hill" and "American Dad" averaged 2.0/4 for FOX. The CW aired an "America's Next Top Model" repeat.
An "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" rerun, 6.0/10, moved ABC into the lead at 8 p.m. "Big Brother: 'Til Death Do You Part," 4.0/7, finished second for CBS. The NBC debut of "Monk" scored a 3.6/6, edging a "Simpsons" repeat, 3.5/6, and "King of the Hill," 3.2/5, on FOX. Repeats of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Aliens in America" aired on The CW.
"Cold Case" grabbed the night's biggest audience at 9 p.m., drawing a 7.3/11 for CBS. "Oprah's Big Give," 5.9/9, came in second for ABC (and won the hour in adults 18-49). An hour of "Family Guy" posted a 3.9/6 for FOX. NBC got a 2.7/4 from USA import "Psych," and The CW finished its evening with "The Game" and "Girlfriends."
At 10 p.m., "Here Come the Newlyweds" scored a 4.9/8 for ABC. CBS' "Dexter" and NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" rerun tied for second at 4.7/8.
CBS easily won Saturday's race, averaging 7.9/14 with its coverage of college basketball's Final Four. FOX and NBC tied for second in housholds at 3.5/6 (FOX had more total viewers), while ABC drew a 2.3/4.
