The premier of The CW's new drama "Life Is Wild" on Sunday (Oct. 7) did very badly. In the recent Nielsen Fast National Ratings for October 7, 2007 conducted in the US, the show posted a mere 1.2 rating/2 share, 0.4/1 in the Adults 18-49 demographic and 1.64 million in the total viewers. "7th Heaven" and "Reba" did more than that.

I believe it suffered like this because its lead-ins (CW Now and Online Nation) did poor on their premiers averaging only 1-2 million viewers. The CW won't thrive if they don't find a way to improve their programming.
