The December tradition that is "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" led CBS to a ratings victory Tuesday night.
CBS averaged a 6.7 rating/11 share in primetime, holding off NBC, 6.2/10, to win the night. FOX was right behind in third at 6.0/9. ABC, 5.0/8, came in fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.7/3.
NBC tied CBS for the lead among adults 18-49; each network drew a 3.5 rating in the key ad demographic. FOX took third at 3.0, followed by ABC, 2.2, and The CW, 1.2.

"Rudolph" posted a 7.6/12 for CBS at 8 p.m., and while that wasn't the night's best household rating, its 14.36 million viewers made it by far the night's most-watched show. A "Bones" rerun on FOX finished second at 5.3/8, topping "America's Funniest Home Videos" on ABC. "The Biggest Loser" delivered a 4.7/7 for NBC, and the finale of "Beauty and the Geek" came in at 1.7/3 for The CW.
CBS stayed in front at 9 p.m. with an "NCIS" rerun, 7.3/11. FOX got a 6.7/10 from its "House" repeat, while "The Biggest Loser" improved to 6.0/9 for NBC. ABC was fourth with a "Grey's Anatomy" encore, 4.1/6. The CW held steady with "Reaper."
"Law & Order: SVU" led at 10 p.m., scoring an 8.0/13 for NBC. ABC's "Boston Legal" finished second at 5.8/10, and "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" drew a 5.0/8 for CBS.

But ABC's special showing of "Shrek the Halls" still has the #1 spot for the special series category registering 21 million viewers+.
