Fast National ratings for Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 (USA).

A "Dancing"-free Monday tilted the balance of ratings power to CBS, while NBC got a demographic win thanks to the last new episode of "Heroes" for a while.

CBS averaged a 6.2 rating/9 share for the night to beat out NBC's 5.3/8. ABC, 4.6/7, edged FOX, 4.5/7, for third. The CW brought up the rear with a 1.2/2.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC's 3.6 rating led the way. CBS took second in the key ad demo with a 3.0, followed by ABC at 2.6. FOX averaged 2.1 and The CW 0.7.

A repeat of "House," 5.7/9, led the 8 p.m. hour in households for FOX, though "A Charlie Brown Christmas," 5.6/8, gave ABC more viewers. NBC's "Chuck" took third (and second in viewers) with a 5.2/8. CBS took fourth with reruns of "How I Met Your Mother," 4.4/7, and "The Big Bang Theory," 4.5/7. The CW aired repeats of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Aliens in America."

CBS moved into the lead at 9 p.m. with "Two and a Half Men," 7.8/11, and "Rules of Engagement," 6.6/10. The midseason ending of "Heroes" scored a 6.6/9 for NBC. ABC dipped one spot to third with "Samantha Who?," 5.0/7, and "Notes from the Underbelly," 3.8/6. "K-Ville" was fourth for FOX, while The CW averaged 1.3/2 with "Girlfriends" and "The Game."

At 10 p.m., a "CSI: Miami" rerun delivered a 6.8/11 for CBS. A special showing of "Life" averaged 4.3/7 for NBC, topping the 3.7/6 for "October Road" on ABC.
