-Saturday’s Losers (excluding repeats):

-Ratings Breakdown:
The next time someone tells you that the broadcast networks are “dead” on Saturday, remind them of the Patriots/Jaguars match-up on CBS on this evening. The NFL Playoff averaged a whopping 26.16 million viewers and a 9.8 rating/27 share among adults in prime-time, easily beating the three competing networks combined. Keep in mind, of course, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate. Over 26 million viewers on Saturday -- not too shabby!
Fox finished a very distant second for the evening with its veteran combination of Cops (Viewers: 7.69 million; A18-49: 2.6/ 8) and America’s Most Wanted (Viewers: 6.84 million; A18-49: 2.3/ 6), which still managed to perform respectably despite the severity of the competition.
Next was theatrical Pearl Harbor on ABC (Viewers: #3, 4.57 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.3/ 4 from 8-11 p.m.). And NBC capped off the evening with two repeat episodes of Celebrity Apprentice (Viewers: #4, 3.38 million; A18-49: 1.2/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.) and a repeat of Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #3, 4.77 million; A18-49: #3, 1.5/ 4).
