'Truth' Trips, but FOX Takes Wednesday

'Idol' also off a bit; 'Lost' rerun decent for ABC

For the night, FOX drew a 12.4 rating/19 share. NBC was a distant second at 6.7/10. ABC, 5.0/8, came in third, beating out CBS' 4.7/7. The CW put up a miniscule 0.9/1 (only three weeks till "Top Model" returns).

FOX also dominated among adults 18-49 with an 8.9 rating. ABC finished second in the demographic at 3.0, followed by NBC at 2.6. CBS, 1.9, took fourth, and The CW trailed with a 0.5.

"American Idol" scored the night's biggest rating, 14.4/22, for FOX at 8 p.m. NBC's "Deal or No Deal," 6.4/10, came in second. "Wife Swap" earned a 3.9/6 for ABC, beating a pair of "Old Christine" reruns on CBS. The finale of "Crowned" on The CW managed only a 1.0/2.

"The Moment of Truth," 10.4/16, kept FOX on top at 9 p.m. despite losing 5 million or so viewers from its premiere last week. NBC stayed in second with "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 6.0/9. A "Criminal Minds" rerun (5.9/9) on CBS and a repeat of last season's "Lost" finale (5.6/8) on ABC were not far behind (ABC was also second among adults 18-49). The CW aired a "One Tree Hill" repeat.

At 10 p.m., "Law & Order" scored a 7.6/13 for NBC. The second hour of "Lost" (rerun) held steady at 5.5/9, and a "CSI: NY" repeat posted a 5.0/9 for CBS.
