-Ratings Breakdown:
The sad reality of Saturday remains the lack of audience interest, with NASCAR on Fox first overall for the evening with a mere 6.82 million viewers and a 2.3 rating/8 share among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. Maybe if the networks would step up to the plate and program something worth watching, there would be some response.
Second overall in total viewers and adults 18-49 was theatrical The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe on ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney, at 6.23 million viewers and a 2.0/ 7 in the demo from 8-11 p.m.
Third was CBS care of a repeat of CSI: Miami (Viewers: #2, 4.81 million; A18-49: #3, 0.9/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and a two-hour edition of 48 Hours Mystery at 5.59 million viewers and a 1.2/ 4 among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. And last, and very least, was NBC’s encore combination of Medium (Viewers: #4, 2.66 million; A18-49: #4, 0.7/ 3), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Viewers: #4, 3.64 million; A18-49: #4, 0.9/ 3) and Law & Order (Viewers: #3, 4.93 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4).
All together now…what a night!
