What can you say 'bout this?
GMA Network's "Dyesebel" background is real. BUT its like a BOMB exploding behind her.
Walt Disney's "Little Mermaid" seems to be the ORIGINAL one.
My wife saw this part on TV and she was beet red from laughing... It took this few seconds to make her quit watching this show and switch back to the dog show she was watching before.
My Gosh! GMA has NO Quality Programming! It might be the #1 show on Mega Manila but it sucks when it comes to creativity!
It sucks in ORIGINALITY too.
gma should've made a scene that is more beautiful than the disney cartoon... but walt disney has more originality than any cartoon i ever saw on tv and in the movies
I also think that ABS-CBN is kind of DESPERADO or DESPERATE to gain more viewers in Mega Manila.
lack of originality? or intended parallelism?
i actually credit them for doing this because it shows that they did their research. They know what will look good on TV (even though its poorly executed). Plus, i credit them for trying something that was only seen before in American films (even though its just a cartoon). They brought this style to the Filipino masses. We should be happy that they are actually learning from the American ways while making it Filipino and while highlighting the natural beauty of the place. We should also be happy that the average Filipino can experience and see this style before.
JUST A THOUGHT (that some will not even consider).
