Here in the US, all television sets must be DIGITAL by February 17, 2009 or you'll lose your signal. While in the Philippines, ABS-CBN is already doing that (I know some folks here in the US has already Digital TV but not all). The Kapamilya Network is going Digital and I know GMA-7 will follow, that is normal if you want to beat your rival.
Digital TV gives you a clear reception all you need is a box of converter or buy a TV that costs P1,000 - higher prize?
ABS-CBN should push it if they want the Megalopolis of Manila (Mega Manila). On the other hand, GMA will fight back and the ratings game will be INTERESTING! And everyone will eat their words both Kapamilya or Kapuso supporters --- PEACE!
I can see it one-step at a time Philippine Television isn't so far after all 'cause we have DIGITAL TV by next year!
