Halloween wasn't much of a treat for the networks, which saw ratings dip across the board.
CBS led the night with a 7.5 rating/13 share. ABC, 6.4/11, finished second. There was a sizable drop to third-place NBC at 3.8/7, while FOX took fourth at 2.9/5. The CW posted a 1.6/3.
ABC and CBS tied for the lead among adults 18-49, each drawing a 3.1 rating. NBC took third in the demographic at 2.2, followed by FOX, 1.7, and The CW, 1.1.
"Pushing Daisies" led a quiet 8 p.m. hour, scoring a 5.7/10 for ABC. CBS' "Kid Nation," 4.4/8, finished second for the hour, beating the 3.9/7 for "Phenomenon" on NBC. Reruns of "Back to You" and "'Til Death" put FOX in fourth, ahead of an "America's Next Top Model" clip show, 2.2/4, on The CW.
