With November sweeps over, the networks offered a heavy dose of reruns Thursday night. One of the handful of new shows, however, led CBS to a ratings win.
CBS averaged a 7.8 rating/12 share among households, winning by a comfortable margin over FOX, 5.4/8. ABC came in third at 5.0/8, with NBC not far behind at 4.6/7. The CW drew only a 1.5/2.
The adults 18-49 title also went to CBS, which earned a 3.5 rating in the key demographic. NBC finished second at 3.0. FOX, 2.6, was third, followed by ABC, 2.5, and The CW, 0.9.
"Survivor: China" (8.4/13) scored the night's biggest audience for CBS at 8 p.m. "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?," 5.5/8, put FOX in second. An "Ugly Betty" rerun, 4.8/7, came in third for ABC, beating "My Name Is Earl," 4.2/7, and "30 Rock," 3.8/6, on NBC. The CW aired a "Smallville" repeat (1.8/3).

CBS stayed on top at 9 p.m. with a "CSI" rerun, 8.2/12. ABC moved up to second with a "Grey's Anatomy" rerun, 6.2/9. "Don't Forget the Lyrics" delivered a 5.3/8 for FOX. An "Office" rerun and "Scrubs" averaged 3.8/6 for NBC. A "Supernatural" encore (1.3/2) closed the night for The CW.
At 10 p.m., a "Without a Trace" repeat (6.8/11) completed the CBS sweep of the night. "ER" posted a 5.9/10 for NBC, topping the 4.1/7 for "Big Shots" on ABC.
