'Bachelor' Special Boosts ABC Tuesday
'House' helps FOX win among adults 18-49
Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 (USA).
The "Bachelor: After the Final Rose" special helped push ABC to a Tuesday night win, though FOX still grabbed the key demographic.
Overall, ABC averaged a 9.2 rating/14 share, far ahead of the 7.6/12 for FOX and CBS' 7.5/12. NBC was fourth with a 5.8/9. The CW's 1.4/2 trailed.
FOX won the night among adults 18-49, doing a 4.9 rating in the all-important age group, beating the 4.1 rating for ABC. NBC snuck up to third with a 3.4 rating, leaving CBS in fourth with a 2.9 rating. The CW's 1.0 was in last.
Brad Womack of 'The Bachelor'
CBS started the night in first with the 10.8/17 for "NCIS." ABC's "Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" was second with a 5.8/9. FOX's "Bones" did a 5.2/8, beating NBC's "The Biggest Loser." Fifth place went to The CW's "Beauty and the Geek" with a 1.7/3.
The "Dancing with the Stars" results show gave ABC the 9 p.m. hour with a 13.0/19. FOX's was a respectable second with a 10.0/15 for "House." "The Unit" was third for CBS with a 6.7/10, while "The Biggest Loser" had a 4.9/7 for NBC. The CW reaired the "Reaper" pilot and finished fifth.
