The CW's hit series, Smallville returned last night with an all new episode entitled Persona, because of the writer's strike it had a hiatus from December 2007 until January 31, 2008. According to Nielsen Media Research it scored 2.4 rating/4 share in the Fast Nationals and scoring 3.88 million viewers, Smallville's premiere gained about 5 million viewers and now after the hiatus it got worse. Overall, The CW was still fifth with 2.1/3 (Supernatural may have pulled down the average by posting a 1.8 rating/3 share). Smallville has been scheduled with an all new episode for next week (February 7, 2008), Thursday at 8/7c on The CW Network. There are 5 more episodes to go before it finishes its season, but it can change if the WGA Strike can be over.
For LOST fans, the show's special clip show the LOST: Past, Present and Future did well by giving ABC a 8.0 rating, 12 share. The show's season 4 premiere pulled 9.5 rating, 14 share in the Fast Nationals on the other hand, ABC's new series Eli Stone got benefits from the premiere of its lead-in show, with 7.3 rating, 12 share for its series debut it won the final hour of primetime over CBS' Without A Trace. An all new episode is scheduled for next week, Thursday (Feb. 7, 2008) on its regular time 9/8c on ABC Televsion Network. There 7 episodes left until it finishes its season (Reason: WGA Strike).
